Situated in south-western Uganda, Bwindi impenetrable forest offers an intriguingly true African jungle experience. Its dense growth, vines and other vegetation make it impenetrable, mysterious and awesome as the sun breaks through; elegant helicon or lobster claw spreads its colourful petals. This is one of the richest areas for flora in Africa. The forest is home to about 330 mountain gorillas, half of the world's population of about 600 mountain gorillas. Gorilla tracking is the main activity here and is restricted to a number of visitors. It is advisable to make reservations at least three months in advance.

Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by Lion Kenya Representative and transferred to the hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kampala. On arrival, you will be met by our Ugandan staff start your early drive westwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving Kabale Town for lunch at White Horse Regency Hotel before driving through the Kigezi Highlands.
Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Bandas.

Day 3:

Wake for an early morning breakfast, immediately proceed to track the mountain gorillas. Have picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead.

Day 4:

After breakfast, travel back to Kampala and in the evening transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our Kenyan driver and transferred to the airport for flight back home.
